This should have nothing to do with digital or affiliate but it is the forum that I visit the most. First, I am a 100% Chinese, (so forgive my English if you don't understand) but i really fucking hate some of the Chinese guys about the way they do business. In China, there is an internet forum for a particular group of people with some bizarre interest (I don't want to say about this), their targeted audience is Chinese. However, the forum is fucking slow and does not look professional AT ALL, just look like a normal forum you can find everywhere on web. It shouldn't have cost much, especially it's in China. I want to say that the owner of that forum is real shit. He claims that the forum is for people to share ideas and resources of the particular interest, but his real main goal of running that cheap forum is to make money. He doesn't invest on the forums, but he just wants to make a large sum of cash. In fact, he is really making everyday, why? One reason, the ' interest ' is really so bizarre and particular that there is only one such forum in China. I really can't find any other over the years. This leads to monopoly... The owner actually links his forum to his own online shop, selling the products related to the interest. The products could already earn a large sum of cash for him. For each of the products he sells he could earn at least usd 100. What is the concept of 100 usd in China? Most of the fresh degree graduate in China could get a paid job with 250 to 300 usd a month. Going to buy a set lunch in China McDonald is only 2 to 3 usd . Everyday that bitch could sell at 5-6 of his products and think about his money, he could have a net profit 600 usd a day. I think that 600 usd is not even a 'small' concept in the united states or other European countries. OK, we should not be jealous of people to earn money, but what I hate Chinese business people is that -- In contrast to some rich people who have made some great cash and rewarded to their community, that Chinese bitch doesn't 'reward' to his community, and even worse. He uses a lot of excuses to 'squeeze' as much money as possible for himself. He announces that the forum has a lot of spam so "they" (in fact he is the only admin - one man bank) restricts registration of forum account, any new registration requires to purchase an "invitation code" which sells at usd 3. The forum is full of advertisements, but most of the advertisements is for his own products and online shops. He prohibits other to promote in his forums with a forum rule. I have been the members of the forum for more than 4 years, recently i made a few thread there which is a little bit related to advertisements. My advertisements can cause no competition with his products because of totally different nature, but after a few days, that bitch sends a message to me and call me to discuss on QQ (like ICQ). He said that the post were restricted and if i want to make advertisments i have to contact "another guy" (but i strongly believe that that is him, i don't go into details explaining why) . OK, when I contact the "another guy", that guy can't wait to say we are the "Advertisement Department of ABC forum" (Shit!), and he then immediately knows that i was the guys whose thread got closed. At that time, my thread only gets closed but my membership is not banned. I then ask for his price on advertisements and he gave me a price after a long time of thinking and typing. Ok, he said i couldn't post thread to advertise, what he could give me is a piece of shit small corners with no graphics, but text only. What is the price? Can you imagine. There are no any official standard price stating in his forums but he first asked me where i live in. After i honestly answer his question he gave me a price through MSN - YMB 800 a year (approx 120 USD) - another "first time" service charge YMB 1000 (approx 158 USD) - then another charge YMB 2000 to "protect" their forum viewers in case "i" sell fake products. and "they" said the money is "refundable". However, do you think a personal non-professional CHINESE shit forums would follow his words? His word sounds "beautiful" but I can swear that he is bull shit. Asking a total YMB 800 + 1000 + 2000 = 3800 (USD 600) for me to buy a small corner appearing between thread replies with only text and no graphics. Ridiculous! After posting my thread with some advertisements a week, I could get some sales, but it is just a pocket money. My earning is far far less than the money if I am really that stupid to pay for that advertisements. After knowing this term I want to fuck him, but I still politely said "OK, thank you, I don't need it". But then my account got complete banned immediately. Who can understand how much I want to swear at this guy? In fact, it is very usual in China, who can understand how much I hate Chinese / China?
