Link Removal

    Can web developer remove the backlinks built by siteowner himself thru directory submission and press articles??

    it's possible but it would require,

    1. Finding a listing of all the links
    2. Emailing webmasters and asking them to remove the link

    If you have a lot of them out there, this can really be a daunting task.

    And give them a good reason to remove the link if he is not the owner of the site and the guy who makes the submission

    You'd better send an email to the designer..Removing the links stealthily is not nice IMO.

    Or can the web developer do some tricks of redirecting on server/ or some other ways? It's just a knowledge base query from a newbie as to what all are possibilities a developer can do?
