I have a flash presentation that I can link to and show from another site. I have accomplished the feat of opening it up in a new window but am unable to find out (quickly enough for my liking) How to do it in a properly sized window... The origional link is opened up using javascript and I must say I quit learning html in 94?? Anyway.. I'll more than likley stumble across it.. What's the biggest hassle and time sucker involved with a website that has huge amounts of traffic? What types of woes are there and what types of sites are they associated with? What kinda site (you can be general) and what kind of traffic problems does it have? By the way.. anyone looking to get the 'big picture' on their finances.. there's a relatively new service that's absolutely unique. A whole service designed to educate and improve nearly every aspect of your finances.. It's the very same presentation I'm working on right now hehehe.. tracker.honestwealthgroup.com is where it's at.. The presentation link is just above the 'sign up' link that takes you to the service home site. Yes.. I make a small commission off of that. Yes.. it's also a residual (which is nice because the retention rate is 99% 'sweet') and YES.. I desperately need help Not bad for 3 weeks for someone that's never done this and doesn't have much time, eh? (small pat on back) hehehehhe Anyway fun fun fun I'm sure I"ll find it
You jumped a lot, which made reading that a little hard but to answer your question: You would use the following code to embed a flash file to any size you want:
Terribly sorry about all the jumping around... Too much caffine and excitement LOL. Thanx bunches for the reply, that piece of code works great! I kinda jumped the gun as well. *sheesh* Should always be specific. Here's the current code being used. As it turns out, the link doesn't specify swf... <A title="WealthTracker Presentation link" href="http://www.umbizsite.com/images/wealthtrack/flashpresentation_high.htm" target=_new> When I used your code I get a black box... I'm assuming that's because the link I'm using goes to an html file.. right? That looks sooo cool though
Try this http://www.umbizsite.com/images/wealthtrack/wealthtrack.swf - that's the direct link to their embedded SWF file.
