I would like to find an automated method of republishing content on my site from RSS feeds. That is to say, I would like to have ALL of the content on my page, with no link back to the original. Rather, I would just give the site for the feed credit, but have INTERNAL links to my own page. Seems like it would be a good way to keep everyone happy. Does anyone know how to do this? Surely some of you black hatters out there have scripts that do something similar to this? I have seen this done my several online magazines - the only difference being, they pay someone $20/hr. to republish, where I would like to spend zero time and zero money to do so. (just need to find a way to give credit in the article heading) Thanks in advance.
Oh, I think I get it. You want to take an existing RSS feed and produce a new one that gives visual credit to the original but linkage to your site? If I'm wrong, please forgive me.. x__x
Giving credit to the person you rob doesn't make it legal. You can do anything you want with scripts but that doesn't make it ok.
Well, I assume alot of sites are doing it, but the only one I've noticed is that one that always gets a link in all the Google blogs under "Sites linking to this post" shortly after posting. I think that's pretty much the same thing. I must reiterate that I'm not sure if that's what the original poster was actually asking, yet
I'm not republishing blogs. These are news feeds. Many of the same feeds that are available as RSS are also available as Press Kits, which are MEANT to be republished. I just want a faster way to get it done. Robbing... Sheesh.
No, I mean having their content on page. (my page) The original story would have a link, and credit for the content. But the reader would never have to leave my site. So I don't violate most people's terms, because I have: a) link back to the original text b) credit given c) image - if there's one to display Many online magazines - respectable ones, even - republish news and press releases, and they give credit in the way that I mention. (they state that the story is "republished", and cite the source)
