    The first thing you want to do is to ensure that all your content are optimized for the search engine. Onpage optimization counts a lot in getting traffic. For example, on a few of my articles on one of my website I added two more headline with the keyword phrase and in a few week after google indexed by site the pages moved up significantly.

    Promote your website. I believe that Forum Posting has bigger effects in creating traffic to the website. You can also try the traditional Directory Submissions. Its old but still it doesn't lose its touch yet.

    For this you need to visit high PR sites and comment there, forum posting and using best social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and pinterest.
