Which blogging platform can do this?

Hi all,

I'm in need of a blogging platform that allows people to register on the site for their own blogs (sorry if I have explained it badly), i.e. lets say I have a site called carbloggers.com, on this site it allows users to register for their own blogs and when they do they are either give (for example the blog name is john) john.carbloggers.com or carbloggers.com/john - giving them a full blog with full access to it but the admin of carbloggers.com still has full access (incase he posts anything inappropriate) do any blogging platforms offer this?

Cheers, thought wordpress had it, not sure if they allow other users to register their own blogs?

 

That's completely up to you. Once you set it up to run multisite, who can and can't register is your call.

 

What I mean is, is there a way so new sites are created automatically?

 

What do you mean automatically? Like batch creating multiple sites at once?
Or automatically create a site at registration?

The answer to both is "yes".
