5 or 10GB isn't really necessary but 400MB is nothing. I'd understand if it was 2008 or 2009 but come on, it's 2012, filehosts have limits of 5-10GB these days. I don't ask for 10GB or even 5GB but 1-2GB would be nice. As for PPS I suggest you guys introduce PPS with rebills, will motivate posters much more. Maybe 50/50, 50% of sale and 50% rebills, on top of that add Alertpay and you will definitely come out as top filehost around.
@ ExtremR We already have 2 GB limit in testing modus. So you can already upload up to 2 GB but it isn't yet published. All users can download 2 GB files there's no free/premium restriction! @ mcmoore See previous line ;-) Did oyu already try the http://usernameassword@rapidshare.com/file.... method? If not please give it a try we are working very hard to improve this and you can expect a big improvement by next weekend at the latest. @ Sammy111 I would love to give you that information but if I post it now I can't refuse it ;-) So please give us some days to make the final decission about the % of each plans. But I'm sure you will like it because it will be very faire. @ darkknight007 Well, in my opinion absolutly. We shouldn't limit it at 2 GB and set it up to 10 GB but the problem is that win XP doesn't support files >2GB and as you can imagine there are a lot of people they still use win XP. Can you live with 2 GB? @ ExtremR as already mentioned in my last post. We will start 4 new PPS Plans. 1. Plan: You will get a fix amount for each new sale 2. Plan: You will get a % of new sales 3. Plan: You will get a % of sales and rebills 4. Plan: You will get a % of all rebills. And we do also start a referrer Plan where you can carticipate on your useres earnings! I wish you all a great Sunday. Regards, Mike
rapidshare always fails , it uses https , could be the reason why. Would be great if you could add rs account in the manager then just enter the rs links ... Also am a bit curious ,i hear mixed reviews over at WJ - do you check each file, record ips etc ... not that i upload anything wrong just what i read at WJ . No privacy basically is what wj peopel are saying
Thanks Netload for considering sales plans. This will surely bring hard working affiliates to your site.
Sounds good Mike. And one last thing, get a GFXer to make you new promotion material, banners, buttons etc, in English.
@ mcmoore thank you for the note I will check this and will post it here as soon as it works! We will bring a new update of the remote upload soon where you can manage your host accounts. Yes we do check each file if it's matching our filter list and I think that is very useful! But we don't record IPs or anything like this! @ ExtremR Jep, sorry that we don't have any good promotion material right now. We already creating some stuff which should be ready next weekend. I will inform you as soon as they are ready! Do you have any special demands or just the "typical" stuff: Super Banner, Skyscraper, Wide Skyscraper, Rectangle, Medium Rectangle, Full Banner, Super Banner, Micro Bar, Button 2 ?
Keep it simple regarding promotional material. So stick with: 125x125, 300x250, 468x60, 468x80, 728x90 and vertical longer one: 120x600. Also, I just decided to give it a test run and I cannot find FTP upload option. If it's not available, I'd think about adding it
Announcement! We shut down the site for some minutes at the moment to release an update in the database which brings more performance! We are sorry for the downtime and the untypical time but we need to do it now to avoid a longer downtime later this evening! Regards, Mike
@ handyman77 If you want to you can send me the complete URL which you insert in our temote upload box my mail to mike@netload.in and I will check the problem! @ ExtremR Well, you posted 3 banners less that don't safes a lot of time ) but we will add 125x125 to the banner list as suggested! We do have FTP upload but you have to be premium user for that. You can see your login details on the home page where you can select the upload typ (normal, remote, FTP)
I'll definitely try you out then. I'm not looking for high sales percentages really. I'd be quite interested in plan number 4. - You will get a % of all rebills. I hope "all rebills" means renewals too from people who bought premium over my files. 25% or 30% wood be good enough for me then or whatever you think would be fair. It's better that the service keeps most of the money per sale imo and in return gives people reliability and security. We don't want you to shut down tomorrow. Could it be possible that people who sign over our files are registered as our referrals? Like 10% from referrals? If not, it doesn't matter.
"Could it be possible that people who sign over our files are registered as our referrals? Like 10% from referrals? If not, it doesn't matter. " Yes, that would be good. Just like on Turbobit.
@ peter9 & ExtremT Yes, they can come due your file links or due your ref link and will be counted as referal. We are currently calculating the ref. %
Also another perfect addition would be higher PPD for starting affiliates. Sure revenue lies in PPS but most of times really low PPD can have negative effect. $100 per 20K = $5 for 1K downloads. There is no need to offer something like $40 per 1K downloads but anywhere between range $20 and $30 would be most welcome. Any thoughts on this Mike?
