Want some suggestions

I have run my webiste 'forum' for about 8 yrs, and I diversify my ad network between 3 sources. I have always wondered if I was to just use one, ie Adsense what I could realistically expect to get per month?

Attached is a image showing my monthly traffic, any imput would be appreciated.

forums are normally bad for adsense ...

This is where Im a little confused re: CPA, I just get the google adsense code and run it.

 

Place Adsense on forum you will easy to get banned. You can try buysellads.com.

Sorry to say you cant estimate the earning just look at the traffic, the CPC and CTR is affecting the earning too

 

I would say about $15 (more or less) per day. Because you have only about 2,000 unique visitors per day.
Neing a forum, it could be rather less than more, but also depends on the topic of your forums.

 

It also depends on the subject. A health, travel or personal finance forum will generate more revenue than one about news or sports.

 

Running 3 different avenues for money, so probably better to diversify as opposed to running just adsense

Tried to place some 200x200 adverts in to see if that makes much of a difference, and its nominal. Seems the best adverts to be running is the 720 banners

 

Yeah I think forums are tough for adsense because the forum users are not usually looking to click ads, but rather searching for information from people. I guess it's tough to determine without knowing the niche, but it is defintely worth testing just adsense if you can affor the fluctuation in earnings.

 

Your cannot estimate earnings by using just the table of traffic. CPC comes into it too, as does the attractiveness and noticability of the adverts you are using.
CPC may be different between the different advertisers.
Some adverts by one advertiser may attract more clicks than another advert by someone else, so it's really a guess as to who's adverts you think are more appealing.
Likewise, some adverts may be very vague in relation to the content on your website, while other advertisers adverts will produce better results as they are more alike. The more alike the advert is, the more interest it will gain. My advice would be to first, reduce the amount of adverts by the other 2 advertisers to 1/3 of how many you have, and replace them with adsense. If your revenue goes up or down, then you will know which advertiser is better to use.

 

Thanks for the input guys. I did put an extra advert in for guests on the site which appear in first and 3rd posts as there are a lot of guests viewing the site, but over the weekend nothing notable in extra hits.

 

try to place ads in every past,s bottom .
forums are earn thousands of dollars through adsense .

 

Can only run 3 at a time before the extras dont appear. So rules that out.

 

AFter 3 years you should get a decent amount. But it depends on how well you've marketed your site.
