If you have problem with trying to increase the persuasiveness of your ads, emails, articles etc., this post is for you. This can look and sound simple or some people say it's common sense but many are just not doing it. Have you seen websites, emails, articles, ads that as soon as you see it you decided to leave? Assuming that you have decent content in those marketing materials, all you need is a few twists to make sure visitors or subscribers to stay on. Tip #1 - Formatting If you have lengthy paragraphs, sentences stretching from the left of your screen to the right, chances are readers will leave almost immediately. To avoid that, here are some guidelines. Make sure each paragraph has 3-4 lines (1-2 sentences) and each line has 8-10 words. Tip #2 - Congruency All your marketing materials must be congruent with you sales page, capture page or whatever page that you are leading your prospects to. Congruency is extremely important or your prospects will be confused. So make sure if you promise them for an apple, deliver the exact apple in the next page you are sending them to. Tip #3 - Appealing Your emails, ads, blog posts, articles must be appealing to the prospects' eyes so as to capture their attention. One way to accomplish this is by inserting images in your content. Another way is to organize your content in a structured and easy-to-read manner. This is when font sizes and formatting come into play. Hope these help! I'd like to know your reply and comment.
Shorter articles tend to get more click throughs. Often times it is the shorter articles that get the best click throughs. We are talking articles in the 250- 300 word range. These articles give just enough information to get the reader engaged in the topic, then offers them that link to their own sites, which the reader follows without issue.
sounds about right.. Personally, I click away if I see a giant article which means that I don't get to their link
