HiI have a SWF file with my testimonials in it. What I am trying to do is extend the frames so I can put more testimonials into the flash file. At the moment, only 4 are on there. The file fades in and out displaying 4 different testimonials. What I want to do is keep the frames and just add on to the existing with further testimonials. I can edit the tx myself using either cs5 flash or sothink quicker. The only part I can not do is make the frames to be added to the existing to be able to put the txt in. When I copy and paste the frames, I can add more, but when I try and edit the txt, it edits the new frames as well as the first copied frame. Not having much luck here. why don't you use swf decompiler . It is nice software to edit swf . It convert into fla and easity edit in flash software
HiI have swf decompiler 5 and have no idea how I edit my testimonials.swf. I can convert it to .fla but still do not see how to add on frames so I have a longer flash. Any chance you could take a look. Would be appreciated. All I want to do is add on around 30 testimonials and I can use any of the programmes to add txt. Just need the base able to add on the frames. As said in my first post, been scratching at this for ages and have not an idea on how to dio this. Would there be any chance of helping me, will give you a drink for doing it with or for me. That's because when you're using the text that is already there , you are using it to highlight it and change the text and it therefore changes the text in previous frames, Reason being: that text was made into an 'instance' or what ever they are calling it now. the text may be animated to fade in and out, therefore its an animation transition on the text, even if its text it may have been converted to an instance, and when the instance is changed, it changes every place the instance was used. . make a new Flash animation row (add new NOT frame, but whole row of frames) and try it that way. make sure youre not down in a level or two ..which is being saved as an animated instance. otherwise you have to break it apart. Try new animation row first.
