What would you do with $50, for marketing web development services

I've been out from web development industry for a while, now trying to come back. I put up my own website at; developforme.com

Before, all the clients I would get would be from referrals, seemed to me all the services here for traffic we're simply for those who have ads on their websites.

So say you're targeting small business owners/people looking to get a website and you need to market your own website, you have $50, how would you use it? Could anyone refer me to any services here that target real people and not for ads? Or just give me tips on how to accomplish this? Thanks in advance!

Try to get testimonials and post your work

You will be flooded with clients

 

Or you can try using a site like elance.com or odesk.com where people can bid for work. Good luck!

 

Yeah browse elance.com browse some forums, google adwords doesnt seem to work out very well for services etc

 

i would just get an CPA account and invest in Cpa marketing ..

 

Thanks for all the replies, I've been on freelance sites but now trying to focus on having my website up and getting people through that. I'm definetly going to start posting around forums, maybe even small business forums if they don't consider spam. I'm not very familiar with cpa marketing, will look into it, any other possible ideas? Say if I were go up to $200.
