We are after a logo for a new powder coating website.

Here's a quick insight - Powder coating is a plastic that is baked onto metal to give it a glossy and long lasting finish - a bit like enamel. It can be in any almost any colour as specified by the customer.

The name of the company is :
    AVL Powder Coating

There are no hard fast rules so feel free to be creative. It will go on a white background. Perhaps AVL would look best sat above the words 'Powder Coating'.

Things you might want to try - make one of the words have a 'mill finish aluminium look' (like it would be unpainted) whilst another word might having a high gloss finish (as if it had been powder coated.) - If you look up RAL Chart on google images you will see the choice of colours available.

The parent company is : http://www.apropos-conservatories.com/ - perhaps the font could be similar to there logo to show some relationship.

The domain where this will be used is currently empty but it will eventually be going on http://www.powder-coaters.com

I think we want to avoid using too many coloours on the logo incase it resembles a kids balloon shop.

Terms: payment via paypal $30 to winner. Last entries by Tuesday 7th Feb please.

Thanks for entry. I see what you've done with the AVL. It feels a little 1970s for one reason.

Looks good. You've got the gist of it. Having seen A V L spread out like this I'm not sure it works. Also wondering whether to include a Spray gun within the logo - spraying the word coating. But I may be getting way head of myself. What do you think....?.

Yes - I like this one the best so far. Colours are strong and the AVL works closer together. :)

I see what you are doing here but it's not really corporate enough. Also powder coating is a clean glossy finish whilst this looks a little messy. Thanks.
