W-What is this thread?? HTML doesn't validate? HTML 5, strict, transitional? If you validate strict using transitional's requirements...of course it won't validate. If you validate HTML5 using transitional...of course it won't validate. Correct code validates, fact. Just because it doesn't validate doesn't mean it isn't functional either. Stop making excuses; code your site, get hosting, put it up if it displays correctly in an in-browser test, and have fun. Worrying about validating??? THAT's your concern?

HTML is to easy to forget almost.. once you learn it , so why not just learn your other languages too.
HTML is basic and easy tags in brackets
Javascript is a step up with logic and math on page
PHP is highly similar in some ways to Javascript but with $ for var sign and extended features and of course leaing page /server side etc

with AJAX for aesthetic, PHP/SQL, and html skills..I cant think of anything you can't make on the Internet.

Let's not forget that HTML and CSS are the foundations of web coding, and other codes are great for dynamic display and modules.

You can not create any site without use of HTML. It is necessary that you have some basic knowledge of HTML for creation of any site which is developed by any language or other open source.

Magneto - I thought it is used only when e-commerece sites are setup or build. Anyways I am using HTML for quite long time and can build almost anything through it.

Yes. HTML is the best. You don't need any other language to program anything.
