How To Manage My Account & Domains

    Hi folks,

It's been a few years since I've been out this game, so I'm a little out of practice! I have a few questions which are bugging me!

I have a reseller account with hostingzoom and had the domain www.myname.com. Now, whenever I wanted to access my Cpanel, I would go to www.myname.com/cpanel. Thereafter, within the "public_html" folder within my FTP account, I had seperate folders, for example "Website1", "Website2", "Website3".

Now, to access these websites I usually went to the following address www.myname.com/Website 1 or www.myname.com/Website2 for example. Then, if I purchased a domain name for "Website1 and "Website2", I would access my Cpanel account, "Addon Domain" and type in the domain which I purchased.

So first off, is this the correct and most efficient way of hosting multiple websites?

Secondly... Since then, my domain name www.myname.com and www.myname.com/Website1 has expired, and to access my Cpanel I now use the I.P address eg: 123.123.123.123/cpanel, However, I'm unsure how to to access www.myname.com/Website2. I tired using the IP address 123.123.123.123/Website1 but was unsuccessful.

I realise you may read this and think "What the hell is this guy talking about it" But it has been years since I accessed my hosting account and I'm a bit lost with it all at the moment!

    I didn't use the colon. I did 123.123.123.123/~Website1. No luck :(

I would try contacting your host then and go from there.

If you submit a ticket the issue will get cleared up for you and then you can begin working your actual project again. I'm sure the mechanisms within your account have changed if you haven't used it in years. Contact support and gain some familiarity and access to your cPanel and you will be in action again soon.
