Contest $ 60 logo contest - entertainment website

Hi All,

I am creating a new wrestling website and I need some nice logos ideas.

The name of the new wrestling website will be "Wrestling Issue" and the domain will be wrestlingissue(dot)com. It will be a website related to pro-wrestling (wwe, tna etc.). We will provide news articles, feature articles, rankings, videos, etc.

It would be great with something in the logo, that say this is an wrestling website.

You are free to add a strapline to accompany the logo, if you have any great suggestions.

Here are some guidelines.
· The logo needs to look classy, but "entertaining".
· All entries must be posted to this thread, we cannot accept entries via PM.

So far a lot of the logo's so far is a bit too similar to the WWE logo our earlier WWF/WCW logo's.

wwwbryan: I am not too keen on the colors. Would also be interest

best designers: I would have liked the logo to say more that this is a wrestling site. So more wrestling.

MrRooT: did not like the colors too much and not the ring with the W in it. sorry. Maybee another font as well for the Wrestling Issue part.

Orangu: This logo is simlar to an old WWF/WCW logo, am I correct?

misterbadz: your logo is pretty nice, but do not like the WrestlingIssue font. And the W before that is maybe a bit too similar to the one WWE use? Could mean Trademark/copyright issues...

generallala: Did not like the font and not the wrestlers above it either. Sorry.

kainraziall: Like the idea, but feel it is a bit too similar to the WWE logo.

logoesdesign: Liked the font, but would it be possible for you to do something else with the W with the 0 around it at the start. Would be very interesting to see.

It's inspired on the first or second wrestlemania logo (but not copied or traced).
I thought you would like the retro style , plus just with a glance is easy to associate with wrestling.

MordM: Good idea! But I did not like the font and colors. sorry.

ideosmil: Nice looking logo!. Would it be possible for you to make a version of it, when the W is on the same line as Wrestling Issue, or at least so that the height is e.g. max 90px ?

pehulz: nice idea. like with ideosmil, could you make a version of it, when the ring thing is on within a height of max 90px on the same "line" as the rest. Also, would be great with some other font on the Wrestling Issue part.

MrRooT: Not, what I am looking for, sorry. Did not like the font, but you are on to something with the part above the two w's "mixed" together interesting.

kainraziall: interesting one. Could you put it all on the same 'line' with max height 90px. and maybee try some different colors, instead of the yellow at least, and maybee the red as well.

misterbadz: as I said in the intro text, this is a site about professional wrestling not wrestling. so the helmet thing, does not fit in. Sorry.
