How much SEO Press Release helps in SEO?

    I was wondering how effective is it if I used one of the SEO PR services and announce a milestone about my site? SEO PR means Press Releases with back links to your site.

    Anyone tried that and got good results on the long run?

    Appreciate your insights.

    It is a good technique to announce and push latest happenings but to look at it as a means to accumulate traffic or backlinks is futile!

    PR is a good source for increasing your traffic as well ranking rate.it is useful in the promotion ven updates are their in your website.
