I installed wordpress, and after 2 days I see that it is PR 0. Why , How come ?

    Ia m clueless.

Please help, I want to get my PR back.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Your site seems to have been totally de-indexed from Google - can not find it any where.

Checked to see if it has been backlisted & according to the tools (googlebannedchecker) it has.

Looks like the previous owner was doing something dubious & sold it on after being found out by Google.

Do not waste any more time on the domain start again with another.

I have bought hundreds of domains and usually the PR is retained as long as it is a valid not faked PR with backlinks - if you do not move the register and get a site up within a few days of getting the domain this helps to retain PR.

If the website has been contentless for a while, Google will reset its PR.

You need to get content up and running asap and see what PR will come back. It will most likely be less than PR3.

What was the content of the site before? and what content are you going to put on there? So many factors can affect the PR calculation and it is better to look at your search engine ranking rather than PR.

The only way a domain will be able to sustain its PR is if it's backlinks will stay. The mast majority of existing PR domains for sale do not have any backlinks anymore, which is a good indication that the domain will not hold it's PR after the next Google Update. Sorry you got duped into this, look at it as a good learning experience. :)

why go with PR, check you often Google visit the site and if its being index well that's the most important.

If you do not have a lot of backlinks does not sustain PageRank!

Looks like the pr is valid:

    http://screencast.com/t/zsfZtFtq

It will probably come back in a few days.
If not you can always get 2 or more pr3 links for it and it will regain it soon. Keep building links, anyway.
