Got this notice from Google better or worse, we have to follow

We’re getting rid of over 60 different privacy policies across Google and replacing them with one that’s a lot shorter and easier to read. Our new policy covers multiple products and features, reflecting our desire to create one beautifully simple and intuitive experience across Google.

This stuff matters, so please take a few minutes to read our updated Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service now. These changes will take effect on March 1, 2012.

[h=2]Notice of change[/h]March 1, 2012 is when the new Privacy Policy and Google Terms of Service will come into effect. If you choose to keep using Google once the change occurs, you will be doing so under the new Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

They actually had to change the privacy policy due to Google+. Nothing serious.

not that simple, if they combining all apps terms, your adwords run with voucher can kill your adsense account

However, we should follow them. Whatever they decide or set. And no serious things in this new change. In my view there is nothing to bother about.

    Good or bad?
not only G take information from our information: cookies, ip address, browser, etc..
some even take cookies from other website.

but G is more informative, they tell us what they take from our computer..

they tell us but we could not do anything about it.

my point is due to the consolidation policy, what we do wrong with one apps can harm others

example you got Adwords and Adsense on same G Acc, and you use invalid voucher then Google will block all related acc including your Adsense acc

    hi.
Its not a big issue, we should follow them. If Google has made new policy then there must be good reason behind it.

This policy has created a lot of controversy even with the FTC and Congress. The concern is that people feel they don't have a choice here and Google is trying to convince everyone that they do such as by not logging into a Google account their information won't be shared across their Google accounts.

I don't know what to think of anymore. Google just does what it want with our accounts with or without our consent. Well we can't complain its their site and we use them for free so I guess its just fair.
They just made a few things clear using their policy. Their old 'policies' is cluttered and full with content no one even dared to read.

I agree that this was the motivation behind the changes.
