About hidden text.

    I know you are not supposed to use hidden text on your site like text the same color as the background. But If i for example join a site where they allow signatures and I post a link same color as the background so its invisible to the human eyes but not the the search engines, who will be penalized? My site or the site im posting the hidden anchor text on?

    How about learn to do ethical backlinking. I couldn't say because I've never been to lazy to do it the right way. I would hope it was your site that would get de-indexed.

    Im not saying I engage in this practice. I have been curious as to what would happen from and SEO perspective. You always hear about not posting hidden text on "YOUR" site but never hear about posting it on someone else's site.

    hmmmm.....I have never tried this before but 6 years ago it was said to be important not to do this otherwise your search rankings could be penalized. True? I really don't know.
