What brand?
We need a logo for an MMA brand, named "Capo". If you don't know what MMA is, please Google it.

What does Capo mean?
Capo is also short for a caporegime, a name given to a top ranking person of a family who deals in criminal activity, that is, the Mafia. A capo basically refers to the leader of a team of soldiers. The capo works as the intermediate between the Mafioso Boss and his crew.

How should logo look?
You can get inspiration from other MMA brands listed below. We will post feedback on your entries.

Thank you for your submission. Output seems good, however this is not the type of a logo we are looking for.

And please note we only want the word "Capo" to appear. To be more specific, in your case, "caporegime" is not needed.

Use your imagination and make sure it's an MMA type of a logo. See examples.

If this is not what you are looking for then please elaborate. I used a hat like they used in the mafia to make a real unique logo based on the subject material.

Big0ne, when I think about MMA the first thing it comes to my mind is fight gloves. And when I think about mafia, I think about "The Godfather".
Why don't put them togheter?

Lol, no offense by that is abit cheesy and I'm sure the contest holder would like something more original and suited to MMA.

 

Instead of a hand, maybe a boxing glove? Maybe a boxing glove bleeding down the words Capo?

No offense at all visalju, it's more a rough sketch to show what was my concept for this logo.

Also, I don't think I understand if Big0ne wants a logo with a mafia reference or not.
In italian, the first meaning of the word "capo" is "boss", maybe he just wants a logo with "attitude".

Mafia related logos are always stereotyped in some way. I thought the idea of a fight glove over the Godfather hand would be fun and new somehow.

Thank you for your submission. I do like your chosen font, but logo overall seems too big/height to me.

I can't say exactly what I don't like about it, but I can say what I like when I see it.

But I like the way you think, logo with an attitude would be awesome.

As mentioned couple of time, please refer to MMA logos I have posted earlier.

It's not that I hate the logo I made, but I believe you guys can do better than this. I'd love to see your submissions.

You don't need to upgrade my logo. Just use your imagination and follow the description I posted in very first post.
