Ah, the idealistic talk.. Man made border and shit..
Borders are not man-made.. It is intended by nature.. Even animals are territorial and they protect their territory...

I have my house, you have yours.. My house is not yours, but if you need shelter and ask for it, I'll gladly help you. Try to sneak into my house and steal, I'll consider you a thief and if my dog rips you apart, I wont shed a tear for you...

    Same with my country...

You are just making strawman arguments. Coming into your house to steal stuff is not the same as some villagers mistakenly herding cattle through an unmarked border.

And yes, all borders are man-made. They are not "intended" by nature, whatever the heck that means. All men are created equal.

By " you all" I obviously meant an average Indian citizen, which is what you are to me and everyone else outside of India. Also, it's true.

What country? India? India didn't exist until 60 years ago or so. Neither did Indians. And now, 60 years later there is nothing that makes a Muslim with Indian passport to be closer to another Indian passport holder than to a Muslim in Pakistan, there is nothing that makes a Bengali with an Indian passport to be closer to another Indian passport holder than to those very boys and girls that were tortured and murdered by savages with Indian passports to protect a made up border. So.. What country? A few dimes might be a good deal btw

Awesome. Do you know that your general knowledge is not only far below average but also made up. This is one of the stupidest comments. Indians did not exist before 60 years. Moron, India is one of the most earliest country known with perhaps the best culture. Hats off to you.

well if you take off your hat when you speak with morons, it speaks a lot about your own level. Also, if you are referring to Harappan civilization and alike and a few broken jars that came with those, they have as much relation to India as some random neanderthal tribe with the House of Windsor. So yes, India is 63 years old or so and it was made up by the British. If YOU know of a country called India that was populated by Indians before 1950s or so please do enlighten us and tell us where it was, since nobody else seems to have this information.

Hello? Anybody home? Can you answer a direct question or not? Please do show me a country that existed anywhere in the world , that was called India and was populated by Indians. Timeframe? Geographical borders? Rulers?

24th for the U.S. seems too high with all of the corruption going on with most politicians and some police. But then again, I suppose other countries below us are much worse with corruption in every facet of life and most all police and possibly every politician. If that's the case, then it's a sad, sad world.

I did notice that the top ten aren't very populous countries. I'm sure this has something to do with it. It's easier to control corruption when there are less people. I'd also like to know the percentage of big business in those countries as well in comparison to the U.S.

Dude seriously, two consecutive posts again? Use the edit button... Show that you have brains and you are capable of learning...

created by who? All men are not equal, some are better than others, it's called Genetics.

There are millions of Bangladeshis living in India illegally, they are not some "villagers mistakenly herding cattle through an unmarked border", they are leeches. Instead of improving their own fucked up country, they choose to leech India and Indian. If you don't know that then you are living under a rock. I'm not impressed by your faux humanitarian shit..

The funny thing is, haters are using this thread for India bashing.. That's cool.. No one gives two shits about Bangladeshis.

Also PS: Happy independence Day to fellow Indians.. Love your freedom and protect it.

Yeah, sure. There were possibly hundreds of different countries in the Medieval period on what now is India's territory . Please do tell me which one of them was called " India" and was populated by " Indians". I'm waiting.

Are you crazy? Or racist? or both... You don't know shit about Genetics...

How many Indians are living in the West illegally? Why don't they all live in India and improve their own fucked up country, instead of leeching USA, Canada, UK and Australia...

I am not impressed by a nut-head like you.

I am a libertarian and I understand people will always go to places where there are better opportunities. Always... That is why you see hundreds of thousands of Biharis migrating to Mumbai every year in search of better opportunities. Are they all leeches too?

Bangladeshis are closer to other Bengalis in India, ethnically and culturally, than Bengalis are to Maharastrians...

The problem with the world is we have divided ourselves, first on the basis of religion, and then on nationality, Instead of being individuals, we have given up our rights and have become collectivist pawns of a few politicians... No one gives two shits about Humanity...

You idiot, it was the Republic Day, not Independence day. Its good that we don't need fools like you to protect my people.

I do know a lot more about genetics than you can ever hope for..

I don't give two shits about Indian living in any country illegally.. Kick them back, I wont shed two tears..

You are not impressed by me? Like I give a damn..

Biharis move to Mumbai because it's a right given to them by constitution.. They live in a country, contribute to country and move inside the country.
But ofcourse you can't see the difference.. Can't blame you, most of the libertarians and human right folks are hard of learning.

Cool, they don't need a separate country then, they should become another state of India, pay taxes to India and then utilize the opportunity provided by India.. Once it is done, I will welcome every Bangladeshi with open arm. Till then, I need to take care of their own country.

    Yeah my mistake..

And name calling wow.. So mature..

Actually, when Columbus discovered Hispaniola, he named the people Indians because he thought he had reached India. While it didn't exist as it does now after having been ruled by the British, it was still India in the 15th century. That's why Native Americans are also called American Indians. The Indians being the key word.
