Recently I found a lot of websites and blogs have lost ranking! On further inspection, I found that these blogs and websites had too many ads in the upper fold! This is the main reason for losing their rankings?

    What do you Guys think?

Well said lifeplayer. Google is doing this pollutes the search results with garbage. Understand that Google's ultimate goal is to deliver the best possible search results for whatever someone searches for. The way I see it....in an effort to better serve the end user, Google is saying that if your website is obviously designed around nothing but to turn a profit with clicks/banners, etc..., then you will be slapped. It's spammy and its obvious that these types of websites are looking to game the system.

I'm not sure whether to be happy or sad about panda. On the one hand its harder to make money, but on the other hand you don't have to compete with as much crap.

I don't think that ad' placement is an issue - it's the ad's being on a spammy blog or site that kicks the site in the nuts... Google wont penalize for a few ad's above the fold alone... shit - Google does that and it would be hypocritical of them to penalize you for something that they do.

Not really - it's still the same, you will be rewarded for quality content, rewarded for unique content, and smashed if you have shit... so it's actually better for those who put in the effort and actually have skills - if you're a spammer - which includes the SEO secrets of spamming articles around, spamming forums, spamming blog comments and spamming directories - if you do spam then you'll get kicked in the balls hard.

All the focus is on your site and your site only! Create better navigation and internal linking - combined with solid and popular long tail search terms in your content and you'll love the panda... and keep actively posting and working on your site (YOUR site).

I post at least 2-3 times daily on my main site and then another 2-3 posts on my adult/sub domain... more or less... and this keeps my traffic fluent. I also update my categories and navigation with my most popular keywords or searches that led the most traffic to my site... generally by linking my Tag under the relevant category (as a drop down menu). It's all about your internal linking structures and not what you do on or for another site... I never use off site SEO and I have taken my site from 1k visits per day to over 10k visits per day - and it's taken me two months of solid work... so fuck yeah - Google should love me.

Changes are always good if we are doing white hat SEO.
