Meta Keywords Importance Now a days ?

Are Meta Keywords important now like they were in the past ? If they are not then why we still use them ? And why they were not important now for search engines?

Of-course .... Meta keywords are very important in On-page optimization. While the search engine robots crawling they will find what your meta keywords are indicating.

 

i don't think so... google not use meta keywords anymore... google only use meta description and title tag

Meta Tag Is Very Important as a part of onpage seo process. some people thinks that meta keyword is not adequate. that their opinion but i always use unique meta keyword for individual pages.

They are still important. They are the ones who appear first on search results and they are still crawled by Google right. It still serves as telling Google on what your portal is all about, and what is you portal offering about/ target keywords.

 

well meta keyword is still important, this is the basic and foundation of SEO. in some SE's like yahoo and bing.. meta is still useful unlike google, they love contents, link structure and Backlinks. but still google uses Meta Title and Description for Crawling you website through search.
