How many pageviews per day/month are out there?

What are we fighting over I mean? There are 2 billion intrenet users, but how many pageviews per month? Does anyone know?

 

The number is clearly in the BILLIONS every day. Youtube alone has surpassed 4 billion views per day.

 

For our own site?

 

just think about how many facebook on it's own has so you can imagine the total amount and for facebook you will be able to find numbers

 

The "average" casual user spends 13 hours per week on the internet, you do the math...

Also, it would be interesting to know how much that traffic is worth. I for example make 13 cents for 1000 pageviews from India. That's what, half a pice for 1 pageview?

 

If it were a metric we could track, I would guess in the 800+ billion page views range. Just think of how many topics are searched for an found on a daily basis, and extrapolate that across multiple sites and the mega sites that by themselves receive a billion or more.

 

Let's not forget that if you include sites like Facebook and YouTube, just 1 user can generate in excess of 1,000 pageviews per day.

I can't even imagine that number...

 

Anyone plays Black ops? There is barely 1.5 trillion shots since launch, and there are millions of people shooting SMGs any given moment. The pageview number is surely coutable...

 

That's a game, the creators of that game could very easily track the statistics for everything in their game, however for global pageviews you can only work on estimates.
