Very informative post. Can I just ask why ebay is not mentioned as place to sell? And also why is tdnam (godaddy site) not good. Appreciate any comments, Thanks
Thanks for the positive feedback, I hope more people can benefit from this guide. uberman, to answer your question, I have listed TDNAM above in the non-free section but not ebay (simply forgotten..). Both are good alternatives if the free places can't get you the domain sales.
Don't want to start another thread so tot I will ask it here 1) Bulk Domains purchase How many domains is defined as bulk-10, 50 or 100? And which registrar(if any) offer discounts for bulk purchase? 2) Private registration Say you buy a domain +private registration, when you sell it, is the private registration service trasferred to the buyer also? And is Private registration worth anyway to the buyer-I mean, can you say that this domain is with Private Registration, so it will cost a few more bucks
1) Normally they classified bulk registration as 5 domains or above. As far as I recall, GoDaddy has such an offer 2) As long as the private registration does not come free with the domain registration, it is a nice addon to have. For example, I don't think many people will consider the value of whois guard by NameCheap when they are buying domains from NameCheap. IMHO
Yes, DNCoupons is another good alternative for coupon codes. I would suggest visiting gingerbreadweb's domparison site also. Nice site there
Great job there KC TAN...I suggest add this line "Domainers Guide [Free resources & Tips]" at your signature with link to this thread so that some more members can visit this thread and benefit.
