Do you concider 22 200/month USA searches a good number?

Hi guys,

I did my Google keyword research for the [Exact] longtail keyword phrase and I found it's:

Global monthly search: 27 100 and Local-USA monthly search: 22 200


Then I went to Google search field and entered the exact same keyword between two quotes: "my keyword phrase" and it shows:

About 1 680 000 results competing for this keyword phrase..

I take a look on the sites ranking first and I found thay re not authority sites... just simple blogs and small sites.

Do you think it's Okay to do the effort and enter the competition for this keyword phrase? Or is there any other important steps should be taken?

I basically want to rank for the organic free traffic to Build my subscriber's newsletter...

Have you check "allintitle: "my keyword" in google, t see how many are targetting that keyword ?

 

Yes, "my keyword phrase" and it shows:

About 1 680 000 results competing for this keyword phrase.. the thing is they r not authority sites, just simple 3 or more pages Blogs ranking first page in Google..

 

If Local-USA monthly search: are 22 200 than it's a good search volume!!
