Who are Moderators?

Hello. I want to know who are the moderators that manage the forum. I just want to some brief explanation from them about my infractions so that i can take care next time.

I am on DP from quite some time and always try to not post such thing that leads to violation of rules. But couple of my infractions are simply pointless. I know most of the readers including staff will think or call me another fool who is crying for infractions but i want to clear the staff that i am not complaining against infractions. I just want reason and base of infraction.

    For example. My this topic
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2322601#post16953578 was originally posted by me in services section. It was moved to cheap stuff section with an infraction. Reason was "Thread Started In Wrong Category". Am i selling something under $5 or giving away anything free? Anyone who will read full thread will know it simply that i offered a service. Yes i know its late to report this but better from not reporting.

One more question. I received an infraction yesterday that is most probably for posting a topic for buying adsense account. Is it against the rules? I don't see the appropriate reason for my last infraction. Reason written is "Inappropriate / Disallowed Post"

Buying Adsense accounts is against the Terms of Service of Google, therefore disallowed post here.

As for your BST thread, you are offering something for $5.00. $5.00 or less = Cheap Stuff category.

For the most part, infractions aren't given out of anger, and generally you should simply view them as warnings and take it with a grain of salt and avoid it in the future.

I know this was already answered, but thought I'd point you to the actual rules thread that states it's not allowed:

Yes. I accept my mistake and that infraction was deserving.

There were different script versions from $5 to $45. I have offered several products and only one option was $5. That doesn't mean that whole thread is for cheap stuff section. I found it better to post in service section as it would not be suitable for buy sell section. If anybody here knows something about Paid to click sites, They can tell you the script prices differ for versions.

I was offering the making of site as a service.

When making multiple offerings, the price of the least expensive offering determines the placement of the thread.

What do you think "Anything being sold" means?

Either way... now you know. No big deal.

Anything being sold refers to the product. Not to the thread which offers multiple services. Isn't it? And how fair is that among many offers, There was only one offer of $5 and whole thread had to bear the punishment?

Also don't bother answering a question that's already been answered.

None of your business. Go spam somewhere else.

Good Joke. Its an open topic and everyone can see how it's been answered. Plus you expect everyone to read a two year old topic which has an unidentified rule and follow it?

You are right. I thought i will hear positive from him. He kept ignoring this topic for days and now probably that's his final reply on this topic. Well justice.
