What we need to do is flood Paypal with payment disputes!! I paid for 6 months of service which is now worth 0! I had over 100 days left and this is on top of being fuct by MU for the majority of a year lost but atleast I understand why I got screwed by them.
Try downloading and all you get is this: "All sharing functionality on FileSonic is now disabled. Our service can only be used to upload and retrieve files that you have uploaded personally. If this file belongs to you, please login to download it directly from your file manager."
hm, strange thing, I tried one and it first gave me "503 Service Unavailable"... but then I refreshed the page and the download has started immediately (like a direct link), without showing any filesonic page ........ EDIT: cancelling the download and trying to resume it resulted in "the link has expired" message Edit2: ..but my filemanager is empty anyway.
thats for sure...unless some other legal way of free&public sharing of copyrighted files is invented. (Damn...actually I was working on this for some time.. and I do have some Project....)
The fact Hish/filesonic have remained silent reflects very badly on them and makes you wonder if they did it on purpose to get out of paying recent earnings as everyone knows sales are getting less and less as the weeks/months go by... maybe they decided it was a good time to take the money and run. Who knows...
Why has there been no comment or action made against Filemonster, whenever I search for a file they are posted everywhere, they are not even mentioned here at DP
