No because the US will come for Israel's aid, the US was using Israel as a tool to gain control of the Suez Canal and it would have done anything to get the Suez Canal under control including using its nukes. Sometimes you have to use a little wisdom and run away from battle.

 

Am I the only one who finds it odd to see you bragging about running away from the 1967 war, a war of five Arab nations against Israel? A war the US was not involved in?

I was thinking similar. If he argued for the Palestinian's plight he might have a shot but he seems intent on wiping out Israel and I don't know anybody that would want that, except him & a few others here of course. A few more might want the Israeli leadership gone but not the whole place wiped off the planet, just a little tidying up would do me.

Israel can exist in its 1967 borders, did you not see Abbas at the UN a few months ago? The Israeli's do NOT want to go back to 1967, therefore its leaving the Arabs with no choice but to put an end to the Israeli occupation, which part don't you get?

I'm sure you have probably done this but have you seriously looked at it from Israel's side of things? Whilst they have people firing rockets at them what do you suggest they do?

If they agree to go back to 1967 borders what do they do if people keep firing at them there?

How would that go politically? Who would agree to that without some sort of peace deal ensuring that cannot happen?

It starts with dropping your weapons imho, from there on, once you know the people aren't going to fire at you then negotiating real borders might work.

But whilst they're constantly and continually getting fired upon, as they have been all along, how can they feel safe? I don't think I would, especially knowing I had the upper hand in the first place and NOTHING is being done to broker a peace.

 

No rockets come from the West Bank, they do from Hamas controlled Gaza. Did you know Hamas offered a 10 year truce and Israel rejected it? Did you know that Hamas and Israel agreed on a ceasefire and Israel broke the ceasefire? The truth is that Israel does not want peace, that is the reality that nobody wants to talk about it. Israel wants to be hit by rockets all the time so that they have a justification to continue with their settlements and border expansion.

 

If that is the case, why are the Palestinians constantly in the business of giving Israel "what it wants"?

 

Because Israel will demolish their homes, uproot their villages and ethnically cleanse them if they don't resist.

 

Israel have the backing of many of the big nations. USA for example.. Whereas the Arabs are ALWAYS seen as the bad guys... You only have to watch the BBC news when there is an explosion somewhere.. The first thing they say is 'The bomber looked of an Arab origin'.... every time....
