Adsense stopped ad serving to one of my sites due to content issues few days ago. Then I made an appeal. I received an acknowledgement of the receipt of the appeal and I am waiting for a response. Will they communicate the result of the appeal? How long will they generally take to respond on this kind of issue? This is my key site and my adsense account is almost useless without this site. If Google does not accept my appeal what options are available for me? Can I cancel my existing Adsense account and then apply again with the same name & address? I can apply with some other site of mine in which I do not currently have adsense. Then after getting the approval can I put adsense on the site which was banned? (of course after redesigning the site with better content which is acceptable to Google) I have also noted that previously I got no.1 position in SERPs for some keywords and now after this ban the SERPs positions have gone down to below 5 positions. Can there be a relationship between the ban & the SERPs? Adsense experts please advise...
No, not a chance in hell. If you reapply after a ban then you are breaking the law, many people do so and forget that an adsense agreement is not a game, but a legal agreement, which specifically says you cannot reapply after a ban, do so by all means but it is classed as fraud, one day soon google are going to come down like a hammer on this and personally I doubt many of us have more $$ in the bank to contest a lawsuit than google do. Even if you cheat the system, as lets face it that is what you are talking about, hence why they class it as fraud, they ban the site as well as the account, so even if you sell the site no one can use adsense on it again. With regards to the appeal, to be blunt why are you asking on here? Last time I looked digital point was not run by google, email google instead.
since the website has been banned and not your account, even putting any other adsense account on it will not show any ads. You can try re appeal after a few weeks. Me I've had a site banned too in november under false reasons as I have documented it, I appealed, received a shitty reply, then wrote again and got no answer, I can't be bothered to write again, although this site was a good earner.. I guess they only have monkeys left in adsense appeal review team.
@JamesColin Thanks for the info. Is changing the domain name a good way to get around this? What is your opinion?
well, without sharing details of the site, it is hard to come to a good conclusion but, try working on your website content, get rid of those duplicate contents, get some writers to generate original unique articles, link build (legitimately) a bit, build up social media to support it then try to reapply
Yes, changing domain name will mean adsense will work on it. But think about it, why adsense banned your domain in the first place? If you didn't solve this problem, then on the new domain you'll meet the same ban problem. Plus this time they can decide to ban your account totally since it is a repeat offense.
I suggest u to start new website and attract traffic...add ur adsense code.... Sign up other advt program and use it to ur old website...
http://tinyurl.com/6olt9yq This is the site which was banned. But now I have added few blog posts in the header area after the ban. Ban was due to insufficient content. What do you think? Would this be reapproved?
Hey guys good news! Ban has been lifted!!! Here is the msg I got today Hello, Thank you for making the requested changes to your site in order to comply with our policies. After thoroughly reviewing xxxxxxxxxx.com, we have now re-enabled ad serving to this site. Because ad serving to your site was temporarily disabled, you many notice a delay of up to 48 hours or more before ads begin appearing on your site again. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.
