For the last week, every time i change a sites name servers, the changes dont reflect immediately in my browser. Usually within 5 minutes or so the name server change is reflected in my browser. I can view the sites from an anonymous browser and see the changes, but I can't upload to the site from my computer. I have in the past couple days, had to go out with my laptop and find a wireless network to upload from so that the client doesn't experience any down time. I have tried clearing my cache, and flushing my IP. Anyone have a solution??
sounds weird have you tried a different browser out of interest u never know sometimes the most obscure things work
I've tried all kinds of different browsers. Before I could change nameservers and within 0-5 minutes be uploading onto the new server, now I have to wait a day unless I go to "starbucks" or another wireless access point.
You know, it takes awhile for DNS to propogate, sometimes 24-48 hours, your ISP could be the problem too. Anyway, try this next time, if you're using windows. Go to start>run, type in cmd, then in the window type: ipconfig/flushdns That does it for me.
no i searched google, saw that im an idiot for not doing that, and saw what it does what I mean is, I read this pages first paragraph http://www.tech-faq.com/flush-dns.shtml
