So basicly i just want to sell some digital stuff online (software, books etc..) from my site - whats the best way to set it up?

People should be able to pay with a credit card and download the files.
What 3rd party company would you recommend to accept credit cards payments (it should also deal with russia and other eastern european countries) and what software to use for it?

    thanks :)

This service is still in the Beta as far as I know, but it definitely looks promising for digital downloads. I'm not sure about which 3rd party processor would be better, as a lot that I know of have major problems with those countries.

but for paypal people have to set up an account, which could be a reason for people not to purchase. moneybookers, as far as i know, accepts CC without accounts. fee is around 9%.
i use xt-commerce as a shop software. you can offer digital downloads and moneybookers gateway is already included.

You might check out ClickBank and Payloadz. They might not accept Russia so you might look into alternatives like Moneybookers or someone like that

If u wanna sell Ebooks or Software, then I deffenetly reccomend Clickbank. Think about the affiliates database that they have.
That will help you very much.

Well, the two I used are Plimus.com and Regsoft.com which works great for software. You can even set it up for them to delivery the licensed version either via registration keys or CD delivery or download delivery.
