Is this theme childish?

I like the theme for http://drumlessonblog.com, but it was made for kids. Perhaps, if I added a drumset on the sidebar it would look more drum like. Should I just get another theme? Of course, the hands picture related to drums sort of.

Sorry about being so blunt, but your theme sucks. You are not consistent throughout you site.

You have links that do not go where they are supposed to.

There is no way to get back to your blog from your home page.

The layout of your homepage is ridiculous, what are you asking your visitors to comment on?
Your page content is on the wrong side of the page.
You are all wrong, Please get help with your project.

    Really, good luck.

I'm so sorry but I agree with the above poster. The theme looks nice but has nothing to do with your site so it needs to be changed to something more relevent. Your site is called drum lessons but there is o help at all, no lessons that I can see and your home page should be more welcoming with more content.
Sorry but this needs to be re-done if you are looking to make any money with your site.
    Regards Polly.

Ok, give me an example of a good drumming blog and I will imitate it. I'm not offended by what you all say. Basically, my site doesn't have a lot of words (don't know really what to say), but it has lots of drum lesson examples to study.

I'm not interested in making money; therefore, I have no plan to add video, but the notation lessons are good for "free stuff".

Yeah i don't think its childish necessarialy but it is not really relevant to drumming. Looks more like a grafitti or weapons site to me lol. But I Do LOVE the font, just not for drumming/music niche

Its a bit depressing, if the website is aimed at kids try and make it a bit more light and engaging

Well so much for the modern dark look (before the child look). Blogcast doesn't have many good themes and no way to put logos or pictures. I guess I will have to move it to Wordpress. Are there extra blogcast themes you can import that are not provided by GoDaddy?

Where are the images? the icons?

It's simple and works, but it's not very attractive.

Videoblog lessons with this would work excellent.

It's not childish, it's outdated. Yeah, basically a child who knows basic HTML can make it, but it's not childish. The theme is too simple. It's the 21st century, consider making it up to the new standards and get a professional design. The site has no images in the homepage, this doesn't make it attractive. More than 80% of your visitors will simply go away within the first 30 seconds. You could refer to lessons website like w3schools as example. You will see it's simple but it's attractive. They split their lessons in various sections which make it easier for any normal user to find exactly what they need. You should consider putting titles of each bit of the lessons. I really hope this helps you get a better site. :) If your site is well setup I am sure it can grow and attract many people and you could possible earn revenues from advertising or by making your own book in the future :)

It is not attractive at all. Find some specialist, work with him. It's not childish, get another theme though.

Too simple with blue, nono and no. Try different shades of blue ( navy blue ) and have a decent blurred background

You have a lot of good content but I would improve on the theme a little bit. Even a custom header would improve it greatly.
