Using same IP for different accounts is risky?

    I and my daughter both have verified Paypal accounts. We both have different bank accounts and PAN numbers, which have been inputted in Paypal. However, we use 2 computers at home, connected by LAN. This means both our IP's will be the same. Will Paypal ban us for this? Thanks in advance for your reply.

    Shouldn't be an issue- you're both different individuals who happen to be residing in the same place.

    If your address in PayPal is the same, and you created the accounts from the same IP and you aren't indulging in any hanky-panky, there really should be no issue.

    no they wont. both are verified with 2 different id.
    even if they do limit it, you can easily prove its two different person

    While I thank you all for your view, I got paranoid because of the details posted in this thread:

    As long as you have separate account names and separate idproofs for both accounts, there wont be a problem. A Same common address proof can be used but still I suggest to have one personal account and one premiere account just to be on safe side

    @parsibagan

    Yeah, it's a high risk, your account might be blocked, like mine.

    Your reply confuses me. While the others state that there are no problems, you state the opposite.

    I dont think there will be any problem but when paypal asks you to submit document you should be able to prove that its your own account

    Dear Let me explain you the policy of paypal as paypal will only block you account if you got two registered account on one name or you are doing something which is not allowed in paypal and secondly I and all my family members got paypal and we all are using it and never get banned because of this and the ips are dynamic if today you are using it if someone else get it tomorrow and he make a account with that ip so no one account will close they dont work on ip and if someone use paypal from internet cafe so what you think are they going to close all the paypal account which are using the same ip no they will not, they just work on the detail you have provided to them
