How to get on first page in web directory

Hello Everyone

When i submit a website in directory it listed at last position in the listing. My question is that how can i get on first position in that particular category. Please share your experience and ideas.

 

It depends on how the directory sorts listings, directories sort by PageRank, hits, date added, titles and so on.
Featured listings should place your listing higher.

Truth is, there 2 types of dir available free dir and paid one or free+paid, if pay $$ they will make you to be in top .

 

What web directory are you using? Depending on what one it is, it can either be hard or quite easy. Backlinks are something that truly helped me rank higher in smaller web directories, but in big ones it takes a bit more work.

 

You pay for that privilege.

I know several people out there that try to cheat by adding spaces to their names to beat alphabetical listings. There are numerous other things people will do to try to beat the directory sorting order. Of course most of us have systems in place to combat this.

Ultimately the best way to insure you rank above another site is the same way you rank above anything on the internet. You pay for it.

Most directories have an advertising system that allows you to purchase either a featured or sponsored position, which is generally located above other sites.

Two things....Paying or High PR

 

Paying for the Featured Links is the best thing to do to get into the first page.

 

take the paid link facility....it is only the way to get the first position on page

You can pay more for getting higher position such as top category but not sub category.

you must work on your site by seo such as uploading videos, submit new directories, submit blog comments, submit new articles and by face book add more friends than you can get first page after hardworking.

 

Dear....Did you check my query what i asked there????. I reckon you are saying how to get top ranking in search engines but my query is totally different. just check it out again.

 

It depends how your submissions are arranged in the article directories.
