If it helps narrow down your search, transfers in India via Payoneer's worldwide local bank transfer service are sent from a local bank account in your local currency (INR).

All major banks are good. I'll stick with public sector banks like SBI, UBI, etc. They have low charges and are reliable.

    Dear ICICI Team,

Glad to see you guys at this forum. I wanted to have a merchant account for me and for one of my client. I visited your bank 4 times, still no one is sure how they will provide this to me. All I want 2 simple things, my developer will integrate your API to our websites, but no one in bank is able to answer the queries (it seems it's really a new stuff for them)

    1. Accept online payment in INR (within India)
    2. Accept online payment in USD (Customers outside India can pay using their credit card)

We started building e-commerce stores for Indian as well as US companies. For US we have several options like Authorise.net, Paypal. But for vendors in India we have lots of limitations. Your help will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks!
