How do you market with Twitter if you're starting from scratch?

There are a lot of posts about using Twitter to generate traffic to your site, but this seems to only for people who already have followers or web traffic.

If you are just starting with a new Twitter account and a website with no traffic, what are the steps to getting followers on Twitter?

 

I started following people that were following my competitors and retweeting and answering their Q's tweeting back.
I did other things as well but that takes a lot of typing lol

 

Yeah, precisely. When you start with twitter you're starting a new forum activity just like with other forums that you've been working. And that means more typing jobs, lol..!

 

You can only invest in Twitter software like TweetAdder or TweetAttacks to get followers.

 

Tweet others and get the maximum followers and start that by inviting your friends first.

 

I suggest to follow other people then other people will follows you.But that people should be ordinary no celebrity like Bruce Willis,Will Smith,Amitabh Bachchan etc. celebrity will not follow you
