Hi, I'm looking for someone with some experience to develop a plugin for wordpress that adds a button to the post/edit post page which grabs the current date / time from the server and puts it as the publish date. This means whens i press this button the time & date will be taken from the server and if i hit "Publish" after this the post will appear on the top of the blog. I can only pay with alertpay, get back to me with offers how much would be required for such a job.
You can perhaps get it done for free using the plugin SEO search terms tagging plugin. The plugin has an option to automatically promote older posts with no search engine traffic. BTW why do you need a plugin for the same. Just edit the post date and change it to the current date to be brought to the top. That would hardly take a few seconds to quick edit and change the date.
Well aware of this, but i want to make things as easy as possible for the work i am doing, i'll be bumping posts left and right, i really don't feel like having to manually fill in this information. It can't be done with the plugin you mentioned. Thanks for the reply!
