Hey guys I am stuck in a hole right now! I am truying to start an automotive parts store more specific for tuner cars to add body kits etc... I would also like this site to have a forum. I am in the works of finding a domain, now but am having enormous difficulty! I have found a few alright domain names.
so far I have found www.tunerplaza.com as a new domain I can register. my question is

should I go with tunerplaza.com a new domain that could suit a forum and store or

a PR3 domain made in 2006 www.qualitycustomparts.com for 150$ but doesn't have the word car or tuner kinda deal and seems like it would only work for a store not a forum?

Is it worth spending the 150$ instead of just the 10$

    ??

    Thank You

I would go with the new domain that has the keyword that you want, also, the domain with pr3 could go pr1 or 2 in the next update, so you will end up losing your money ..

Hmm, I'm still unsure, I have read many articles saying that people always look for aged domains with high pr. Gah, I'm hoping for more comments so I can make a final decision.

If I were you, I would go for the PR3 domain but not with that price. I would pay max $75 for that domain but no more than that considering that it's just a PR3 domain. If that's not possible, I still won't suggest you to start with a new domain, you should buy an aged-domain which make it easier for your forum to rank on Google and the possibility that the PR will go up soon is much higher than a new domain. You can always find an aged domain at Godaddy auction, it will cost you less than $20. Just make sure the domain is non-dropped.

I prefer new domain with keyword on it than aged domain but doesn't have 'car' in it,,
the keyword on domain which suited with your niche is more better,, hehe that's just my humble opinion

Just go with tunerplaza.com if you haven't bought it yet. It's generally better and it's more suitable for a forum since you will need a shorter and more memorable name for it.
