Couldn't agree more. Too bad you and I both know the man's killers are well protected by the Iranian government that hired them.

That analysis is spot on. By killing their own scientists, they try and legitimize their pursuit of Nuclear Weapons with an artificially created moral high ground. Knowing those maniacs, it will be the very same "Moral high ground" they use an excuse to discharge one of those weapons in the KSA or Israel.

Invasion is the only humanitarian choice.

These scientists who were killed were a crucial component of Iran's nuclear program.Their loss cannot be overstated. This will slow the whole program down by 6 months according to some experts. It is unreasonable to assume that Iran would kill them simply in order to justfy any kind of aggression they "may" be planning.
To think otherwise is illogical,or dare I say?..................strategic.:)

This assumes the facts are as Iran has presented them. Lets not forget this country is actively severing it's connection to the internet to control information, incoming, and outgoing.

There are several alternatives to the information being provided by Iran that are far more likely.

    1) The scientist, his family, his "assassination", and the impact of said "assassination" are entirely made up out of whole cloth. A figment of Ahmadinejad's imagination. A tale devised solely for the purpose of creating unrest.

    2) The scientist was real, but his importance to Iran's nuclear program was non-existent. Perhaps he was someone who refused to work on the program, so they killed him and blamed the west.

Either way, the whole thing stinks. Another death, or another lie, or both, being served up to peaceful western natons, like a warm plate of dung, and they expect us to just slurp it up. I don't think so.

This could be very well possible, alternatively he may have worked on the nuke program but became a threat somehow (followed by CIA/Mossad, got in touch with them, anything) so they decided to take him out.
All speculation, but speculation is all we can do.

Why are you trying to bring up the strange idea of Israeli Terrorism on a thread about Iranian State sanctioned murder of it's own citizens?

So here you indicate that you are creating a conspiracy theory.

This little piece of speculation expands on the original conspiracy theory.

Now you promote invasion, a bit unclear who you think should be invading who, but I'll presume it'll be the goodies/baddies thing - this is so Iraq over again. Demonise a country based on what really is a lack of knowledge. Create a myth based around non-existant nuclear weapons or nuclear weapons they "might" have in the future. Create an illusion about how they will use the non-existant weapons - "they're gunna kill us, they're gonna kill us". Invade, cities are destroyed, infrastructure ruined, innocents die, families left without breadwinners, country financially wrecked - justify it by saying "well the world is a better place now we killed that President bloke."

According to logic. The Iranian government is a pack of liars and murderers ACCORDING TO THEIR OWN PEOPLE. They have actively tried to block and obfuscate information, including the internet, ACCORDING TO EVERY NEWS REPORT.

Who killed those scientists, or if those scientists are even real, will remain in question to people like you and I for the foreseeable future. Given the Iranian government's complete lack of credibility, my theory is as good as, or perhaps better than any other.

@Bobo: Don't want to make you cry[again] pal. Have a cookie and relax. Everything is alright.

It's an old CIA/Mossad operative trick. Deflect and misdirect. Say it loud and say it often. Misinform.

Let me rephrase your sentence: -

The US government is a pack of liars and murderers ACCORDING TO THEIR OWN PEOPLE. They have actively tried to block and obfuscate information, including the internet, ACCORDING TO EVERY NEWS REPORT.

Don't believe me? Watch Alex Jones channel on Youtube. Hey, I got a proof, where's yours?

Show me yours and I'll show you mine. Or were you planning on showing me Alex jones' proof? I'll hold my breath.

Makes me wonder how many of Alex Jones' die hard fans are actually American.

agree. stupid nonsense. They would do that ONLY if they had plans to attack first.

p.s: who cares about Iran? except US.

haha, good joke man, Vietnam/Afghanistan/Kosovo/Iraq, purely humanitarian campaigns :)

Quite obviously US/Israel will do what they can to stop Iran getting nukes. This is like the spygames of old. As shocking as it is, I wonder would Iranians prefer whoever it was, and I don't for one second believe it was Iran, but would they, or even we, prefer the US / Israel / Allies attacked Iran causing hundreds and thousands to die or took out the people involved in making it happen to avoid that scenario if possible?

I know they probably prefer NOONE was killed but it's not as if Iran hasn't threatened to use them on Israel is it so it is kinda understandable if it was them. Taking out armabignbad would be the ultimate goal but doing that could turn a whole lot more Iranians into suicide bombers so that option would have to be much worse for the aftershocks / retalliations.

If there has to be a war then I much prefer those actually involved get taken out rather than the hundreds and sometimes thousands of deaths written off as collateral damage. Surely Iranian nuclear workers know every one of them is a target.

Iran accuses US and Britain of role in killing of nuclear scientist

Disclaimer: I am not condoning actions of war, just rationalising the event from an Allieds perspective.
