Hullo Being straight forward, I've just started learning and practicing web-designing for 2 days from scratch. I want to make a web-site over information-rich articles. Is it possible for me to make straight $1000 from a single website from adsense? and if so, then how come i know about high paying keywords, and how do i learn SEO for my this site. What's the min duration it would take me to achieve all these targets.? Regards
To be truthful my friend this is not an achievable target in real terms. I know you will get plenty of replies claiming a number of ways but believe me there is no such short cut. You will really need to work hard on content and ideally it will take you at least six months or maybe a year to achieve your target, that too if you work hard. Focus on finance related keywords. They generally have a higher payout.
It's actually not that hard, if you hold onto the site for a while, earning about $3 per day... which equals about $100 per month... then if your site is good and has a feel of quality to it - you can get around 1k for it. So it's do-able if you're willing to spend some time on your site and are willing to flip it later.
I think, you just get me a bit wrong, i'm not looking for any shortcut, I'm totally committed to work hard. And thanks for the suggestion of high paying keyword. I really like your frank attitude.
Once you are earning from one of your site, you can flip(sale) your website for big cash at flippa or here at DP forum
Rex, this is totally reachable yes, don't listen to the bad advice above.. It is not reachable for them as they didn't put the work in.. Make interesting and unique websites about well searched topics. Ensure YOU write all the text, do not copy and paste even snippets from anywhere else. Make the articles fresh, funny, interesting and update frequently. Get as many back links into the site as you can, but if the site has good content on it you should get picked up very well anyway. Don't expect it to happen overnight, your first months Adsense revenue may be $5, but then as you add more and more pages and/or sites watch it grow month by month. This will encourage you to keep going. It took me about 2 years to get a good income then a further 2 to get a VERY good income...
You really boost my confidence. One thing , i would like to ask that, am i able to write such an article, as i speak english and i know many things very well cuz i'm continuously updating myself by reading journals, magazines and newspapers, but that doesn't mean that i'm a good writer? or am I? Secondly, will you please tell me the source, from where i can have list of well searched topics? Thanks & Regards
If you do not know where to find good topic and stuff, You can always outsource to A niche finder expert. They will find the best cpc, with least competition.
Well, thats not meeting my objective , that is , to know kith and kin of this business. Let me tell you once again, that i'm a beginner, any i really don't know that what does and cpc mean in this context. But thanx for the suggestion.
1K a month can be done within a year, I don't want to repeat what others have said already but good, original, content is king. And hard work. The main issue to remember, is that _nothing_ will seem to happen for a few months, you will feel that you are wasting your time. Just don't give up, keep adding new, original, good contents on a daily basis, (and of course follow good, basic, SEO practices). I would even go as far as saying, for the first few months, don't even look at your traffic logs as they will depress you, I would not even bother about putting ads on your site. Targeting top keywords is a very risky tactic as many other users are probably doing the same thing. For 1K a month I would look at not-so-popular keywords, at least your competition will be less. Another think to remember, (and you will learn it yourself as you earn more and more), is that top earners don't give away any/most of their secrets. They hide their top keywords and only give very general advises/suggestions. For example, most of us don't use our DP signatures to advertise our main websites ... FFMG
