Where can I buy a new Xbox?

Where can I get a new Xbox from except eBay? I searched every big electronics store in my area(Chicago) and they are all gone.
And what happened? Why are they all gone?

 

I live in the Chicagoland area as well. I haven't really been paying attention but it's probably because Microsoft is focusing on making 360's instead of regular Xbox's. You should be able to find some at Best Buy or Circuit City though I think. If i go there soon I'll try and fill you in.

I saw some yesterday here in Dallas Texas... Try some of the places that take used systems, they usually have new ones in stock also. GameStop etc etc

I can only find them $250 or more on the internet

 

I know gamestop sells a used 360 with wired controller (which is buyable online) for $270. Im sure they wont last long with the holidays right around the corner.
