I am not sure about Google they may have developed their own framework for security reasons, but yeah, some services like forums and blogs etc are built on python. and for others, there is a variety of languages to pick from. everything depends upon the developer, he may choose PHP, ASP, ASP.NET, Python, Ruby, CGI or any other language he is comfortable in.
Why, want to come in competition with Google? If you want to come in competition with Google then ........ . .. . . ..you can choose any web development platform, such as PHP, ASP, ASP.NET etc.. Best of Luck
Would be really grateful if you could justify what you said. Can you please tell me how do you guess that ? I mean, you have no access to the raw codes and all the URLs are stripped down to hide any clue about the language of framework, and I know that its not a big deal to develop their own unique framework for the guys over there.
Well, i can't say they use C only. I know for sure they use python and PHP too for some parts. But im 99% sure the search back end is based on C as i've heard that from a pretty secure source. Who knows though.
hey I am not competing with google .... I think if we came to know the language used by google , we can also use it for our projects and its is easily readable by search engines , so definitely it helps us a lot .!!!
