The more you work practically, the fast you will have hold on HTML. Only tags are to be remembered, what you need is the correct application of these tags.
Most recognised? Perhaps. Best place to learn? No. It's not. I've just tried to post a link to a website that shows why W3Schools is a bad learning resource. Apparently I haven't been registered on Digital Point for long enough to post links. Run a Google search for "W3Fools" and have a read.
When I started years ago, I really liked the Total Training tutorials. I am a visual learner, so it kept me focused...
