New author of a nutrition-related book

Hi, I recently completed a nonfiction book about calories in the context of nutrition, obesity, and appetite with a focus on energy balance. It runs about 50,000 words (300 pages) but I haven’t created a website to sell it. What are my options? Would a vendor or affiliate work with me to market my book? Or is that not how Clickbank works-
    Thanks,
    Bill

You can always find health forum where your potential customer might be hangout. If the forum allow you to promote your eBook, then you should start selling it there first to see if there is any market. If there is a demand, create a website and JV with someone who actually have sold plenty of eBook on Clickbank. Just my 2 cents.

I am not sure how much hand-holding Clickbank will do. I would suggest starting in their Vendor Help Center and reading through all the information there to get started with.

You will likely have to do most of the work in getting things going on your own, or hire someone(s) to help you get going. A few things you will need; a domain, hosting account, sales copy, affiliate tools, and a squeeze page design. Since you aren't providing software or anything that requires providing lots of support to your customers, you probably won't need to get involved in having your own forum.

Instead of Clickbank, have you looked into selling it through Amazon? You wouldn't need all the stuff above as Amazon would handle almost everything.

You can sell and promote it on your own using a payment processor such as E-Junkie.
