Laptops.us - Appraise this please

As the title says, I would appreciate if someone does an honest appraisal on Laptops.us

Please specify relevant recent sales figures or any information that could help me!

 

That's a very difficult one to work out.

If you hold onto it and .us becomes very popular as many in the domaining industry predict, then it could be worth thousands. As of right now, I'm not sure.

 

laptop.us would be better. mid $xxx IMO

 

Who's predicting .us becomes popular? I don't know one person that likes the extension. IMO it will always be .com's little bitch.

 

laptops.r.us is probably better, but the Geoffrey the giraffe might not like it.

What idea could you possibly have for laptops.us that hasn't been thought of a thousand times over? Is selling laptops over the internet a high-margin business?

I'd say your domain name is worth about $100, but there's probably someone out there who wants $20,000 for it. Am I right?

IMO your domain is better then these domains and i would not be surprised if yours can get high xxxx$ ,
if i look at the numbers from the similar sales a xxxx$ sale should be realistic.

Yup - looks like a good one - could be $1,000+ to the right buyer. There's a huge market for laptops in the US.

I disagree with this, if you are selling Laptops, a plural is definitely better, just like Cars.com is better than Car.com

huh? what kind of advice is that? duh ofcourse com is better but who can afford com especially with such a highhhhhhhhhhh searched keyword.

the domain is nice. its a high searched keyword and being in the laptop business myself I can say that you can definately sell the domain to a company in the us that sells laptop parts, a recycle company that resells laptop parts or a company that just sells laptop. 5-10k would be my guess or even higher.

Im not in the US though so not really useful for me...
