    Well I personally use yahoo messenger, all of my friends, people with I work are using it, and I think it's simple and very good as well. Now I've king of use facebook chat as well.

    SKYPE and again SKYPE. I use it for already 2 or 3 years and I really like it. Just try and you will agree with me for sure.

    I prefer SKYPE since there is live video and audio chatting. I can also transfer files easily and one thing I like it also is the group conversation through voice/chat.

    Skype is great but you need to give the user your details and it is hard to have skype IM actually on your website but you can use soemthing like liveperson or gchat or you can even create your own service

    no you are all wrong guys, the best online video - audio - text chatting remains govisiochat (Vendor's website: rcpsecure.com/govisiochat)
    I've bought it for just 90$ and works like a real charm. It really is a wonderful piece of software, super easy and quick to install.

    Again, I prefer VideoWhisper. They have several soultions and they all use FMS, Red5 or Wowza. Fallback is the Adobe p2p network so you are never off.
