Isn't stupid to give an infraction with a reason of bumping a thread in the 1st page?

    Isn't stupid to give an infraction with a reason of bumping a thread which was in the first page (almost on top), is it?

    Ok, someone close the thread. I am not going to find out the answer, because some not so smart people are allowed to judge others even if they shouldn't. I guess this is the world where we live :)
    EDIT:
    Oh, and I think is our right to know who gave the infraction.

    When we review your thread we don't know if its on page 1 or page 100 of the category. We get a report and click on the link. If the post is frivolous and appears to be a "bump" then you may get an infraction.

    In your situation you posted
    So I probably did you a favour! Stating that all links had been accepted labels your directory as a link farm & invites massive flaming from other users. I've run directories - I've never had a day when all submissions have been ok to accept. You always get duplicates and spam. So in the 3 days between your posts you only had quality submissions? Not likely.
    If that isn't a bump then what is?

    Well, in future you have to check that (from the post date).

    Are you telling me how to manage my site? I didn't asked anybody about how to manage a directory. As I have full control on my sites, I have the right to do whatever I want (not against the laws). You should focus more in moderating digitalpoint forum rather than other people's sites. ;)
    Do you know what BUMP means?
    BUMP = Bring Up My Post
    If my post was already UP, how could I bring it up again??
    "Keep submitting." is a sentence. I wrote it to encourage somehow visitors to submit more links.

    Either way... I'd say the post serves no real purpose. Was there a reason that people reading the thread would have thought it wasn't okay to submit and you needed to clarify that it was?

    Received a negative rep by someone will a small number of neurons.
    First of all, there was no post with "no purpose" and second, a BUMP is DIFFERENT with a "no purpose" post.
    So, just to make it clear, including those less intelligent, the reason given for the infraction was just WRONG, accept this fact. That's all.
