Once the user is banned he cannot post.. so what you are talking about are posts made by him when he wasnt banned
Bug to do with infractions. Thread where it happened: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=163249 Bug report: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/bugs36.php?do=view&bugid=1091
But TOPS, I saw that thing only 5 days back, and not few weeks back..Is the bug still there? And it was not "The special one" whom I saw, it was some "kaosik" that I saw that day. Yes, I indeed saw the green light near his name. I even checked his profile and saw he was viewing a thread...
wow yea - thanks tops - never knew about that one Something interesting in that thread though - the OP was "banned" and could post a thread - and the person who reported him in the thread is now banned A banned person can view threads bnts ... the green light just shows that he was online, he will not be able to post or create threads.
If the fix hasn't made it to a VB update that Shawn has run then yeah, it could well be that it's still buggy like that. It just doesn't happen very often.
They can read threads I believe. It's technically virtually impossible to stop a person from seeing the public forums. Their IP would have to blocked, which isn't fail-safe so I do think they can still access the forums. Just nog log in and post or see The Underground etc.
But can banned people still sign in? I mean the green light I think these explain quite clear...seems like it was still buggy a few days back..
They must be able to login or else bnts wouldnt have been able to see the light green light beside username
