Same here, and now that price has surged well over 1500, it has become so much harder to purchase it. However, I am saving to purchase at least one ounce this year.
I personally like to invest in Gold. Its safe investment with good returns But if you are good at forex trading then try some
Wrong! You earn more money from gold IF AND ONLY IF GOLD KEEPS RISING IN PRICE. Anyone with a modicum of common sense KNOWS that SOMETIMES you can earn more in the bank than by buying gold.
If you'd invested $20,000 in gold in August, you'd have around $16,800 today. Unless you're prepared to hold gold/silver for a LONG time, then there are better places to put your money.
Forex trading involves 2 things, timing and patience. After the collapse of Lehmann Bros. 2.5 years ago I traded for U.S. dollars.Kept them for awhile then moved them when the panic stopped, made profit. Now I'm trading for Deutschesmarks because of the mess in Greece. I'll hang on to my German money then trade when the German traders calm down and the marks go back up.That's how you do it........timing and patience.
mmerlinn said "SOMETIMES you can earn more in the bank than by buying gold." He was right. That's all.
I'd prefer Gold, as currency may (not) hold its value in future. Gold, we all know is rare so its bound to go North
Gold in one of the most profitable investment for me since 2007. Though the price is moderately high ATM, but still it is a good investment.
Someone on DP can read? That is a miracle. Thanks Kerosene for clarifying the issue. And keep up the good work.
i think that you can make investing on the basis of the background and many things which are needed to be consider while investing.
If I may be allowed to wander off topic a bit.You mentioned investing. Two years ago I purchased stock in a Canadian company that was trying to develop a vaccine for the AIDS virus. They have apperantly done it and expect to have it on the market within 5 years. There are problems with the vaccine at present, but they are optomistic none the less.Imagine how much my shares will be worth "if" they succeed? I did well with GM stocks too.I bought them 2 years ago when they were trading at their lowest level since the Korean war. They were 'supposed' to be going bankrupt. p.s. never invest more than you can afford to lose, and diversify.Never put all your eggs into one basket.
I am very 'egg'cited to hear about your financial portfolio.Don't scramble it all up,get cracking on it now.I'm being serious here and am not "yolking" around.
